Adding event attendees manually
In addition to online event registration, Wild Apricot allows administrators to register event attendees manually. You can do it in several ways:
1. From event page - can be used for existing members, mew attendees and attendees from past events
2. From member profile - for a specific existing member
3. From existing event attendee profile - for attendees from past events
From event page
Go to the Events tab, select your event from event list and in event details click on [Add attendee] button.
Enter e-mail of the person being registered and click on [Go] button. If system finds matching email in Members or Event attendees records, it pre-fills registration information on registration form. If system does not find matching records, it opens an empty registration form. After you submit the registration system will create a new event attendee record.
After that enter registration details. Note that if event registration is not free, payment arrangements should be made between you and the event attendee outside of this process. You have a choice of adding this attendee with Payment status either Pending (if payment is yet to be received) or Confirmed (if payment has already been received).
Click on [Next] button to get to Confirmation screen. Review information carefully and click on [Confirm] button.
You have an option of sending standard event registration email by checking 'Send notification to attendee' checkbox. (Email will be determined as per Customizing event registration confirmation email )
Event registration details screen will now show the final details of the registration you have added.
From member profile
- go to Members tab and select your member
- click on [Register for event] button
- select event from drop down menu and click on [Go] button
- proceed with event registration steps as above
From existing event attendee profile
- go to Events tab / select Event attendees and select attendee from the list
- click on [Register for event] button to proceed
- proceed with event registration as above
