Customize donation email receipt
Whenever you receive an online donation through your online donation form, Wild Apricot automatically sends an email to the donor.
These emails can thank the donor, provide additional information on how he/she can get further engaged with your organization, confirm the donation details and serve as a receipt for the donation.
To edit this email, go to Settings / Donation Settings / Donation confirmation e-mail:

This screen shows your current email text and allows you to send a test email with some dummy data fields to yourself - or edit it. If you click on Edit button, you get to the screen where you can actually edit email text.
On the left side, there is a box with the email text you can freely edit.
On the right side there is a list of predefined field names you can insert into your confirmation email.
For example, to personalize your email and address the donor by his first name, use {Donor_First_Name} - you can either type it exactly like this - or click on this field in the list on the right side and it will be inserted in the edit box:

A very simple version of this email is created for you when you open your Wild Apricot account. You can edit it as described above. If you ever want to restore the original version, use [Restore default] button.
