Dashboard page overview
Dashboard is the first page you see after you log in to your Wild Apricot account:
It is a starting point for you to start exploring Wild Apricot - as well as a summary of some key metrics about your Wild Apricot account.
Let's review it section by section:
Main menu
This menu provides access to the main functionality groups in Wild Apricot:
Each group/section (in this case, Dashboard) comes with links to key screens within this section. Dashboard section has three such links: Overview (the dashboard page itself), Referrals (if you refer other people using your referral link, this page provides all necessary information) and Payments report
Note that some functions like emailing and reporting do not have their own tabs but rather are accessible in the context of specific places in the system where you need them. For example, you can send an email from any member list page - the main one or any subset via Advanced search. Event payments report is accessible via each Event details page.
User name etc.
This section shows the name of the current user and provides links to Log out and Change your password:

(This logo is hidden and can be replaced with a reseller logo in white labeled accounts)
Toolbar
On the dashboard page, the toolbar lists a version number with a link to its release history (this information is hidden on white labeled versions). On the right side there is a 'Tips' icon which glows if there is a tip for this page (click to see it). Also there is a link to the support screen where you can see a list of your support messages and submit new ones.
On other pages, the toolbar provides functions appropriate to the context of what you are doing at the moment.
Vital statistics - next 3 events
This section lists next three events and the number of confirmed and pending (registered but not confirmed paid) attendees. Click on the event name link to view Event details. To view all events go to Events section in the main menu.
Vital statistics - Contacts database
This section lists three main categories of contacts in your Wild Apricot account - members, donors and event attendees. ( Note members can refer to supporters, sponsors, board members, volunteers etc). The total line is important since the maximum number of contacts allowed in your database is dependent on your selected billing plan.
For each contact type the system shows new records in the last 7 and last 30 days as well as the number of archived records (Archived records do NOT count towards your database size, and cannot receive e-mailings/e-newsletters).
Vital statistics - Last 5 donations
If you are using the online donations form, this section will show the last 5 donations. To view all, go to the Donations section.
Billing plan info
This section provides a summary of your Wild Apricot account plan.
Click on the view/change details link for more detailed information.
Referrals
This is where you show your appreciation for Wild Apricot and spread the word.
Click on [Tell a friend] to send a referral to your friends (thank you!)
If you want to earn referral commissions, follow the Earn referral commissions link and send referrals from there. From that moment on, this section on the dashboard will look slightly different - it will provide basic statistics on the accounts you referred to Wild Apricot:
Getting started
This section lists a number of basic Wild Apricot features - which serve as a basic guide to new users exploring Wild Apricot. Initially all checkboxes in this section are off. As you explore each function, they are automatically checked (you can change them by hand too).
