Field for contractual terms

One of the field types that can be added to your member database and event registration forms is a special field for contractual rules and terms of use

Let's see how it works for the member database - event registration form works in the same way.

Go to Settings / Membership settings / Database fields and click on [Add new field] button. Give your new field a name (e.g. Terms of use), select Type - 'Rules and terms' then enter the text for the link (e.g. I agree to terms of use) and the actual link to the webpage with actual rules and terms (you can create a separate page or upload a document, then copy-paste a link to it into this field).

You can also specify whether this field should be accessible only on new applications or in the member profile as well. 

Now the online membership application form will have a mandatory Terms of use field. Clicking on the Link opens 'Terms of Use' in a separate window. (you can even preselect this field if desired).

Note that in the above example member will not be able to edit Terms of use field in the member profile.
