Inserting documents
Frequently you need to insert and link to a document, such as a PDF, Microsoft Excel or a Microsoft Word file that visitors to your site can download.
Inserting documents is a two-step process.
- Upload a document from your computer to Wild Apricot server
- Insert document into a page
Step by step
- To upload a new document, go to the page where you wish to include the document in and click the edit button. From the Editor toolbar, click the Document button to open a pop-up window:

- Click on Browse button and find the file on your computer.

- You can add any type of file: Word Documents, PDFs, Powerpoint files, etc.
- The maximum file size allowed is 2MB. If you need assistance in uploading your document or have a special circumstance, contact us at support@wildapricot.com.

- Once you have found the file, click Open. Wait for your document to load and you should now see the document listed in the window.

- With your document uploaded to your server, you can insert the document on any page (or multiple pages). Click [Insert Document]. The document will be inserted as a link. To save the page, click [Publish] (or click [Cancel] if you do not want to insert any document at this time).

- To delete a document from the server, click on the Document button, find it in the list, click on it and click on the 'Delete document' button
