Member - edit profile

Wild Apricot provides numerous member self-service features, one of the basic ones is the ability for members to edit their own membership record (profile). (This function is not available for Lapsed and Archived members).
Each member (or contact) has a member record in your Wild Apricot member database. This record can be edited by the administrator - as well as by this member himself - with appropriate security mechanisms in place.
To start, member goes to your Wild Apricot website and logs in:

(And he can reset his password using a Forgot password link)
Upon successful login, this box changes to:

And if this member is granted access to Website Pages with Restricted Access (based on his membership level), he will be automatically taken to the Members-only section of your website.

Clicking on View profile link, he gets to a page with his own membership record:

The very top section of this form lists key membership information - Membership level, status, date joined and renewal date.
The next few sections correspond to how you have setup your member database - see Customizing your member database.
Finally, last section displays current Member directory preferences.

To update his profile, member clicks on [Edit] button, which enables editing and saving the record:

Member directory preferences are only enabled if this member's membership level are setup to include him into the directory. See Member levels and Member directory.

Member updates his data, clicks on [Publish] button and his data is automatically updated in your member database.
