Moving your pages around.

When your Wild Apricot website is generated, a number of web pages are generated according to your selected template in a certain hierarchy. You can freely move these pages - or any other webpage you have created in this way:

  • Login as administrator
  • Click on the page you want to move in the left side menu
  • Click on [Edit] button
  • Page will load into edit mode - and you will see a circle of arrow buttons near the page name:

For example, if you wanted to move the About Us page to the bottom of the page, click on [Edit] and you will see this:

Now use the arrows on the right hand side to move the page around. Up-arrow moves the page higher within its current level, Down-arrown moves it lower, Left-arrow moves it to the next level up and Right-arrow moves to the next level down (makes it a subpage of the current page above it)

To move the 'About us' page the bottom of the list of pages, click on the down-arrow repeatedly until you get to the bottom of the page, then click Publish.

Now the About Us page is placed after the mashups examples page.

  • The only exception is your Homepage - it can not be moved in the hierarchy (it is always at the top) and it can not have subpages (in fact, all other pages are nested from it so all Level 1 pages are kind of subpages of Home, even though the menu is not collapsible/expandable in this manner)
